Ardi Parker's journey to kindness is rooted in a lifetime of learning, observation, and growth. Raised in a large family as the eldest daughter, she naturally strived to be a positive role model for her younger siblings. Like many, her path was filled with challenges, and through them, she sought to understand the roots of negativity and the meaning of true happiness. Ardi studied psychology, taught high school English for nearly forty years, and has always been a keen observer of human behavior. Her experiences in education deepened her understanding of how people want to be treated and how vital kindness is to personal growth and emotional well-being. Over time, she came to a simple, powerful realization: it all begins with a kind and healthy heart. Now retired and living on beautiful Vancouver Island with her husband of over fifty years, Ardi enjoys writing, playing guitar, singing, and swimming. With The Heart of Kindness, she shares the wisdom earned from a life dedicated to compassion, self-reflection, and the quiet power of love.
