I grew up in the gymnastics world similar to our main character Riley and I loved the personality and spunk in her. She is a really strong-willed character who would be an awesome role model to young girls. This book is well and thoughtfully written with a great cast of characters ready to rally. Riley could teach many girls some lessons in strength and not giving up when things get tough! Definitely would recommend it (even for adults!) - Amazon Reviewer This was such a good read. While this book is suitable for middle school readers, it was an interesting read for me as an adult as well. Riley was a great character, and she was easy to relate to throughout the book. The descriptions and explanations of what it was like to be a gymnast were fun to read and kept your attention. I love Riley's tenacity. When everything she loves crumbles around her, she fights to find a way to make it work. And she puts in the time and effort. That's a great lesson for any girl.
