Jennifer Ewell is a wife, a mother of five awesome children, and a grandmother to seven beautiful grandchildren. She loves to read, write, walk in nature, collect books and fabric, and has been an avid quilter and quilt designer for almost 30 years. She enjoys traveling with her wonderful husband and has visited almost every state in the U.S. as well as seven other countries. Throughout the years, she has served children in a variety of roles at church, in Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts, and at their schools. A perfect day for her would be spent with her family or attending a quilt retreat with new friends. Her writing adventure began three years ago, and every book that she writes has a matching quilt pattern. She is so excited to share her love of quilting and books with the world. Currently living in Boulder City, Nevada, with her husband, she enjoys frequent visits from her grown children and grandchildren. Kelsie currently resides in Houston, TX, but was born raised in the Midwestern United States. A lot of her personal work is inspired by her experience as a stay-at-home mom raising her energetic twin boys and spunky toddler girl, as well as her new baby daughter. Her favorite thing is to create art with a quirky and humorous twist. Her art subject of choice usually involves people. She loves to use bright colors with a playful, lighthearted style. Kelsie primarily creates her art digitally using Procreate, but non-digitally she likes to use colored pencil, ink pens, and markers. She is always inspired by other media, so she dabbles in a little bit of everything! Kelsie's client work has consisted of custom portrait drawings, creating promotional media for products or services, children's book illustration, character design, hand-lettering, font design, document/template design, and even a bit of animation! Her diverse skill set ensures personalized, captivating, and cohesive visual solutions to meet the client's needs.
