""When I first found out I was becoming a Dad, I thought about climbing inside my wife's womb and hiding. I had no idea what to expect. The sheer thought of being responsible for someone other than myself was a whole lot to take in.

Since I couldn't take cover, I decided I would learn as much as possible about the new role I was about to embark on.

I read countless books, spoke to family members and made a promise to myself that I would be the best Dad this kid has ever had... (Being the only Dad - I had no competition, so this seemed easy enough)

After nine months of earning my PHD in Fatherhood, I felt prepared and excited to welcome our child.

Now, I'd like to do the same for you..."" -Aaron Edkins

Reviews for The First Time Dads Weekly Pregnancy Guide: A Must-Have Pregnancy Journal for the New Dad, Moms & Parents to be!

Book gives out very helpful tips, suggestions, stories, plus added advice by author himself and much more. This is such a great step by step hand book guide, I highly recommend this book. This would actually make a great gift to first time father's to be. This is extremely helpful and I looooove the weekly play-by-play. I'm a planner, but also a clueless first time mom, so this timeline check list was perfect. It's very well organized and full of great info and suggestions! I'm almost 30 weeks and have felt thoroughly informed along the way. Book is very well written, took me about two-three days to complete the whole read, but book is worth the read. Book also provides lovely images and I like that the book takes reader on a journey from pregnancy to birth and even thereafter. Found this really helpful for my hubby when we were preparing for a baby. My hubby was a real dummy with baby and anything baby related, but this book has really helped him find his feet. I wasn't expecting this books to have this much info! I love the idea of this book to prepare & go week by week with pregnancy & understanding more what we women go through physically & emotionally . So nice to share this book with your partner! The purpose of this book is awesome !! Keep up the hard work. I love to read real life things so this book is amazing & plus I'm currently pregnant as well . Thank you!! Great Read Understood What The Author was trying to relay and it was definitely from a good view point I believe Great idea, definitely a need for a resource for dads. Something for my husband to read and get some ideas from.
