"Everyone is bringing gifts to honor the newborn king, but who will bring ""The Finest Gift?""

""The Finest Gifts: A Christmas Story"" is a beautifully illustrated, poetic adaptation of the traditional Christmas story, written from the perspective of those that traveled to the manger to see the baby Jesus. Among those traveling is an impoverished old woman who is bullied along the way for not bringing a gift. Having not spoken throughout the journey, all are silenced when she finally arrives at the stable and shares her message with the world.

"Since the age of twelve, Sandra ""Sandy"" Cole has written inspirational stories and poems that have been shared with family, friends, churches, civic organizations, and state and national associations. Born and raised in the Northern California city of Red Bluff, Sandy was a frequently speaker at many local, state and national meetings and conferences on a variety of subjects. Sandy now lives in Klamath Falls, Oregon, an aside from writing she is a REIKI Master, and practices energy healing; a minister with Light Path Resources, and a grief counselor. Her pleasure time is spent with her children, grandchildren, extended family and friends. Erika Bentsen Norris never meant to illustrate for real, she just thought it was fun. She grew up on the Oregon Coast but now lives near the Oregon Desert where there is a lot less rain and a lot more cows. Inspiration for her art stems from giggles and smiles on kid's faces. Her illustration career began with the Chuckle and Learn series ""The Adventures of Captain Stinky and Sailor Puss,"" written by New Zealand author, Colin Fisher. As a writer, Erika's articles appear in Guideposts, Angels on Earth, and Mysterious Ways magazines. She is also a contributing author for Daily Guideposts/Walking In Grace, a series of devotional books."
