Vasant Gowariker is Satish Diwan Distinguished Professor at ISRO and Chairman of The Rajiv Gandhi Science and Technology Commission for the Government of Maharashtra in India. In 1993, he was appointed by the Indian Government to have a Re-look at Fertilizers, where Dr. Gowariker began gathering knowledge for Fertilizer Encyclopedia.
