Moving to Australia in 1996, he became head chef of the legendary Tetsuya’s before opening Sepia restaurant in 2009 with his wife and partner, front-of-house star Vicki Wild, to widespread acclaim. Most recently the ""culinary power couple"" (The Age) opened the luxurious Society in Melbourne. They live in Sydney. "
