Sonja Montiel ""Dana Zullo brings care and insight to a process that often overlooks the unique needs of creative students. The Creative Candidate honors the multidimensional nature of art students, recognizing their diverse talents and ways of thinking. I especially appreciated the book's thoughtful pacing, balancing pauses for reflection, learning, and action in a way that feels supportive rather than overwhelming. This is a valuable resource for creative teens and their families seeking a more personalized and affirming college experience.""
