Born in Turkey in 1940 to a Greek mother and Russian father, Yasha Beresiner moved to Israel when he was ten and spent his time between Italy, Israel and England for the next few years. Having completed a law degree at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, he continued his studies in England where he remains. He has been an active Freemason in England, Italy and Israel since 1975 and is a Past Master of the Quatuor Coronati Lodge No. 2076, the Lodge of Research of the United Grand Lodge of London. He is the author of several books and hundreds of his articles have appeared in specialised journals and newspapers worldwide on subjects within his direct fields of interest.
