"Originating as a farmyard ratter in Germany, the Miniature Pinscher has pranced its way into the hearts of millions throughout the world. A beloved companion and eye-catching show dog, the Miniature Pinscher is known as ""The King of Toys"" for a reason. This elegant little dog comes with a spitfire attitude, making him an excellent lap-sized guard dog that can travel with his owner almost everywhere.

Beginning with its historic role in WWI and rise to popularity in North America, The Book of Min Pin details the breed's origins and shares with readers the official breed standard. New owners will find advice on choosing a well-bred puppy as well as key information on nutrition and canine health, along with natural healthcare practices for the most holistically minded of dog owners.

Inspired by her first Miniature Pinscher, Lola, Madelin shares stories of their 18 years together, from Lola's puppyhood into her golden years.

From basic training to entering the show ring, plus exclusive chapters on long-distance travel and caring for senior Miniature Pinschers, this book includes everything you need to know to forge a lifelong bond with your canine companion."
