SARAH NEILL is Senior Lecturer in Children's Nursing at the University College Northampton. She has a background in a wide range of clinical posts in children's nursing, followed by ten years as a lecturer, primarily for pre- and post-registration children's nurses, where she has specialised in the teaching of biological aspects of child health. HELEN KNOWLES is Coronary Heart Disease Programme Coordinator at Bedford Primary Care Trust, UK. She has a background in nursing and health visiting with a breadth of experience both in practice and higher education, where she was involved in teaching biology to nursing students.
