This book provides insights and understanding concerning the events and prophecies of the book of Daniel. It also provides the timeline of the events and fulfillment of the prophecies. These start from the time that Israel was overrun by the Babylonians and primarily continue to the restoration and eventual arrival of the Messiah. Several Empires came and went in-between. The final chapter also deals with some prophecies and events that will happen in the Last Days before the Second Advent.

For clarity, the book follows the same Chapter layout as that of the book of Daniel.

The Chapters are as follows:

Seventy years of desolation of Israel. The first vision of Kingdoms till Messiah comes. Nebuchadnezzar's reaction to the vision shows his reaction to it. His plan to prevent the coming of the Messiah. Nebuchadnezzar's second vision and meaning. Babylon is fallen! Another Empire will allow the restoration of Jerusalem. Daniel's power over lions shows that the visions cannot be stopped by the Empires. More detail is revealed about the four beasts in the vision. Medo-Persian to Greece Empires. The Seventy Weeks prophecy is revealed. Some background information is provided followed by an explanation and dates of the prophecy. The final message to Israel and the world begins. Some facts about the Heavenly realm are revealed. The North versus South situation begins. Some names of Kings involved are given and the reason why this continues to be an issue leading to many wars. After the First Advent of the Messiah, it will continue. The situation heading to the Last Days is revealed, and one final prophecy was given.

The reader is advised to read the book of Daniel before attempting to follow this book, as this book is concise. It will not have the right effect without knowing and comparing it with the Bible.

Pieter C Voges grew up in Pretoria, South Africa, and graduated from Langenhoven High School. After studying at Pretoria Technicon and Pretoria University, a career at IBM followed. Attending various Christian churches allowed a growing understanding of the original Gospel message and a quest for complete Biblical understanding. This led to my appointment as a Pastor and Evangelist. A desire to share insight into the First Century Theology led to several books being written and recently converted to eBooks. More is in production.
