he oldest son of a United States Army captain, Horace Williams, Jr., lived most of his toddler years in western Germany, at the foot of breathtaking mountains. He then moved back to the United States in the state of Iowa with his parents as they pursued a life in Christian ministry. He then traveled around the United States with his parents before the family settled in Texas. In 2010, at the height of his sales and marketing manager career, Horace suffered a massive stroke at the office, which paralyzed his left side. During those times in the hospital, God recaptured his heart and gave him a new purpose in life. Horace now has a burning passion for Christ. God continues to transform him and renew his mind. ""I came across this book just when I needed it. Sometimes, as a believer, I get so overwhelmed going through life that I forget the little ways God has been good and faithful to me. This book is a reminder and gave me the privilege of rededicating my life and commitment to God, and after deep reflection, I refer to God as my ever-present help."" -Brian Stewart, Readers' Favorite. ""Williams shares how Scripture shapes his understanding of God's love, prayer, and joy, using a conversational, open tone that feels a bit like a chat with a knowledgeable, caring person instead of just reading a book. The standout to me is the advice on the practical choices that help believers respond well when life brings hardship. Overall, The Amazing God points readers back to God's constancy, and its hopeful message stays with the reader in a way that motivates continued trust and sincere devotion in daily life. ."" -Jaimie Michele, Readers' Favorite.
