As a certified school guidance counselor, I decided to explore the phenomenon of ELLs. Therefore, my years of experience working with ELLs provide the unique perspectives of exploring this complex phenomenon with clarity and insight. This scholarly research study sheds light on the complexities ELLs face within the classroom learning environment in the United States. The textbook highlights culturally responsive teaching, underscores the importance of supportive educational environments, and offers tangible strategies to improve the academic achievement of ELLs.
