Guru Prasad Mohanta is Professor at C. L. Baid Metha College of Pharmacy, Chennai. He is Former Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmacy of Annamalai University. He has the experience of serving World Health Organization Country Office as National Technical Officer in Essential Drugs and Medicines.He has more than 37 years of teaching, research and administrative experience at various levels with more than 500 articles to his credit. He is a regular columnist for Newspapers and Pharma Magazines. Currently he is member of FIP's Policy Making Body on NCDs. He has authored several popular texts and reference books. He has completed several funded projects. He is associated with several Indian Universities and Institutions either as member of academic bodies or examiners. He is a member of various National and International Professional Bodies. He is recipient of the best researcher award of Annamalai University in 2012; IAPST Pharmaceutical Scientist of the Year 2015 Award; Recipient of Pharmacy Teacher of Eminence Award 2023, Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India, Tamil Nadu Branch; and Best Academician Award 2023, Research Journal of Pharmacy and Allied Sciences and Acharya P. C. Ray Gold Medal 2023, IPA Bengal Branch. T. Purushoth Prabhu is Professor & Head, Department of Pharmacognosy at C.L. Baid Metha College of Pharmacy, Chennai. With 17 years of teaching, 1 year of industrial experience and 3 years as a Medical Representative in a MNC. He has made significant contributions to pharmaceutical sciences and traditional medicine. His research focuses on herbal drug technology, phytochemistry, herbal formulations, and preclinical studies. He has authored two books, three chapters, and four practical manuals, with 62 publications and two German patents. A recipient of research grants, he is a resource person in IPR, Siddha, and traditional medicine research. As a dedicated placement officer for 17 years, he has successfully placed over 1,500 students.
