Traditionally, we date the American Revolution from 1775 with the battles at Lexington, Concord, and Bunker Hill. However, the actual revolution began at least 10 years earlier with the passage by the British Parliament of the Stamp Act and the resistance that followed throughout the Colonies. Those who participated in this patriotic outrage comprised a relatively small number of colonists. But their impact was monumental.
