Sylvia Tawanda Suggs was born and raised in North Philadelphia and is the proud mother of three. She is still taking back what the devil stole from her. Regardless of race, creed, national origin, age, gender, religion, sex, or education level, everyone has the right to be informed about all types of abuse. Her sexual abuse inspired her to educate people about the long-term effects of abuse, ranging from behavioral problems, low achievements, disempowerment, loss of control over one's life, and unhealthy relationships for years. Ms. Suggs holds degrees from the Community College of Philadelphia and the University of Phoenix. In her spare time, she enjoys singing, crafting, and playing basketball and kickboxing. Sylvia Twanna Suggs is a survivor of sexual abuse, whose life journey fuels her mission to educate and empower others. She understands firsthand the long-term effects of abuse and is committed to helping others reclaim their voice.
