Kimberley Ashwin is an Autism Consultant Nurse and the CEO at Autism Oxford UK. She is a proud mother of three uniquely wonderful children, two of whom are autistic, ADHD, and dyslexic. As a SEN mum, Kimberley has firsthand experience navigating complex health and education systems to advocate for her children.A registered learning disability nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), Kimberley developed her passion for supporting autistic individuals early in her career. She has pursued further education in supporting autistic people and those with learning disabilities who have co-occurring mental health needs. Kimberley specializes in the autistic PDA profile and its overlap with ADHD. She is trained in a range of diagnostic tools and provides clinical leadership to the team at Autism Oxford UK.Kimberley has completed extensive leadership programs and co-chairs the National Autism Consultant Nurse Network. She has worked as an independent clinical advisor for C(E)TRs and served on the NICE committee for ADHD.
