Ruby Vurdien has been an EFL teacher for over thirty years and is also a researcher. Her areas of interests are telecollaboration and intercultural learning and the application of ICT to language learning, a subject in which she has published several articles and book chapters. She has participated in many workshops related to teacher training and enjoys exchanging ideas with teachers as well as trying out innovative techniques in the language classroom. Wendy Chambers (Ph.D.) is a Centre for Canadian Language Benchmarks board member and Associate Chair (Language Training) at NorQuest College. She has been deeply immersed in the EAL field for over 20 years as an instructor, curriculum developer, researcher, and teacher educator.
