Robert M. Booth is a retired businessman who spent over a quarter of a century working with a global cellular technology company headquartered in Israel. His experience in international business development allowed him to travel the globe with an Israeli Arab Executive Vice President and Jewish Director of Engineering. These three men have developed a lifelong friendship. Together, they shared the experience of living in the complex environment of Israel. Rob's time spent with his colleagues and their families allowed him special insight into their lives to discover the challenges they face. This experience also provided Rob the opportunity to spend time with evangelical Arab Christian leaders, Messianic Christians, and those believers in Christ from America and all over the world who have chosen to live in the land to share the gospel. The stories they told became the backdrop for the writing of Tearful Triumph, sharing the good news of the gospel from the perspective of disciples of Christ living in the Holy Land. Rob lives in California with his wife. He is blessed with three adult children and nine grandchildren, all of whom he adores.
Tearful Triumph is a wonderful story describing the power of the gospel of Christ to bring tremendous peace within even the most confused and conflicted circumstances. Through the ashes of heartbreak shines the hope offered to all through the good news of Jesus. Inspired by a true story, this narrative will grab your attention and grip your heart. I know this book will touch the lives of many, and I pray you will find the triumph that is given to all who will turn to Christ for comfort and salvation. Dr. Gary Cook, Chancellor Dallas Baptist University ""This novel helps the readers feel the pain and challenges of the daily lives and losses of those living in the Holy Land as it calls believers in Christ to live out the reconciliation of the gospel, even in the middle of a war zone. It demonstrates the power of forgiveness through Jesus to transform not only an individual, but also families and estranged communities. Storytelling can often communicate and resonate more powerfully than a sermon or theology lecture, and this novel, inspired by true events, highlights the power of the gospel to bring peace and reconciliation among the body of believers in the Holy Land--the greatest testimony of the gospel! This book casts a hopeful vision for the future, reminding us of what is possible and of how Jesus calls us to live."" Dr. Alicia Jackson, Associate Professor of Old Testament Theology Division, Vanguard University Donna Chasam, Retired Director of Friends of Nazareth ""This story is beautifully told sharing the love that resides inside the lives of our dear Arab Christian brothers and sisters. It has the potential to heal the wounds between the various ethnic groups. My prayer is that it will become a life-altering story for the masses!""
