Dr.Doris J.Sims is a distinguished educator, consultant, and advocate for children and families. She earned her Ph.D. in early education/child development from Claremont Graduate University and has dedicated over forty years to teaching at California State University, Los Angeles, Northridge, and other institutions. A founder of multiple schools in Los Angeles, she also served as a juvenile hall counselor and parenting instructor. An author of children's books on African- American inventors, Dr. Sims remains committed to strengthening families and advancing education. She is a member of West Angeles Church of God in Christ. Dr. Doretha A. O'Quinn, affectionately known as ""Dr. D.,"" is an ordained minister, educator, and international speaker with over fifty years of service. She is the executive pastor at New Life LA and president/CEO of BridgeBuilder Consulting Group. With forty+ years in higher education, she has held leadership roles as provost, chief academic officer, and K-12 principal. A passionate mentor and author, Dr. O'Quinn is dedicated to empowering women in ministry and leadership. She cherishes her family, including her husband of fifty years, four children, and nine grandchildren.
