Jeff McAffee is a practical theologian whose primary voice is in the church. He has been in the ministry for over twenty-five years and has a doctorate degree in homiletics. He has authored several undergraduate and graduate homiletics courses and is the author of Prayer Made Easy (2023). He is particularly interested in helping the Spirit-filled, Bible-teaching pastor find their confidence and competence in the Pentecostal community.
""Jeff McAffee has written a book that's been a long time in coming. He presents a comprehensive treatment of the practice of expository preaching in the Pentecostal tradition. He engages Pentecostal and Evangelical practitioners and draws from their best insights. He has constructed a methodology that will be helpful to the novice and seasoned preacher. I expect this book to earn a place as a primary preaching text in Pentecostal churches and educational institutions. I will certainly use this text in my classes."" --Dan Tomberlin, Assistant Professor of Practical Theology, Pentecostal Theological Seminary, Cleveland, Tennessee ""Teaching As Worship is a timely and powerful contribution to the Pentecostal church. Jeff McAffee reminds us that faithful exposition of Scripture and Spirit-filled preaching are not at odds but beautifully aligned in the worship of Jesus Christ. This book will equip and encourage pastors to embrace the role of teacher with confidence while maintaining the passion and power that define our movement."" --Luke Barnett, Senior Pastor, Dream City Church, Phoenix, Arizona
