Professeur Paul Raymond Buitrn III is a pioneering martial artist, esteemed educator, multi-generational Tejano, and cultural preservationist whose lifelong dedication to French martial arts has broken boundaries and set global standards. He is the founder of USA SAVATE: Boxe Francaise & Canne de Combat Commission, Inc. and Leader of the International Guild of Danse de Rue Savate, Inc. A true trailblazer, Professeur Buitrn became the first American to earn the prestigious Silver Glove rank in France in Savate Boxe Francaise, and the first non-French national ever authorized to teach Savate in France. He went on to open the first official Savate school in the United States and later became the first non-French Technical Director in the history of French Pugilism-milestones that reshaped the international landscape of the art. With 38 years of teaching, mentoring, and preserving martial heritage, he has influenced countless students and instructors across continents. He has trained many Golden Globe recipients, as well as USA SAVATE champions. This volume marks his seventeenth published book, each work reflecting a profound commitment to tradition, excellence, and the enduring legacy of authentic martial arts.
