He is also Adjunct Professor of Planning with Complexity at the Centre for Design Innovation, Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia. He is Director of the Regional Resilience Research Institute, a global institute to help regions becoming more resilient, physically, socially and mentally. Until 2015 he was Professor of Design for Urban Agriculture.
