Potential corrosion inhibitors and commercializationThe use of environmentally sustainable corrosion inhibitors has been shown to be the simplest and cheapest way to achieve corrosion reduction and prevention in acidic media and therefore avoid economic losses in industrial liners, tools, and surfaces. Recent research has focused on corrosion prevention methods using green inhibitors for metals or alloys from corrosion to mimic industrial methods. As part of a two-volume set (1403 and 1404), this volume explores the fundamentals of corrosion, experimental and computational methods of corrosion monitoring, corrosion protection in various types of electrolytes, and recent advancements on sustainable corrosion inhibitors in the oil and gas industry. This book is a valuable resource for readers in both academia and industry who are interested in learning about modern corrosion inhibitor practices.
