AbdulLateef Olanrewaju Dr. AbdulLateef Olanrewaju is an Associate Professor in the Department of Construction Management, Faculty of Engineering and Green Technology, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Malaysia. With over 20 years of extensive experience in the construction industry and academia, Dr. Olanrewaju is a highly respected scholar, practitioner, and educator. His expertise lies in sustainable construction, building maintenance management, and construction project delivery.  The PhD is in Civil Engineering. Dr. Olanrewaju commenced his career as a quantity surveyor, where he successfully managed diverse projects for multinational corporations as well as public and private clients in Nigeria. His drive to address sustainability challenges in the construction sector inspired him to pursue advanced studies, earning a Master of Science in the Built Environment from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and a Doctorate in Civil Engineering  from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia.  Dr. Olanrewaju’s research spans several critical areas, including sustainable building maintenance, ethical construction practices, housing delivery, and the integration of digital technologies in construction processes. As an empiricist researcher, he employs rigorous quantitative and qualitative methodologies to develop innovative and practical solutions to pressing industry challenges.  He has authored and co-authored numerous scientific papers published in high-impact journals and presented his work at international conferences. In addition to his prolific research contributions, Dr. Olanrewaju is a passionate educator committed to shaping the next generation of construction professionals. He teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including Construction Project Management, Data Analytics, Research Methodology, Construction Procurement and Contract, and Construction Economics. He is deeply invested in mentoring students and supervising MSc and Ph.D. candidates in areas aligned with his research expertise.  Dr. Olanrewaju’s unique combination of practical industry experience and academic excellence positions him as a thought leader in the construction sector. His work bridges the gap between theory and practice, offering policymakers, developers, and industry professionals’ invaluable insights and sustainable solutions that advance the construction industry toward a more sustainable future.
