5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome tips and advice for the citrus-minded Reviewed in the United States on June 2, 2021This is the book I didn't know I needed. I have a young citrus tree in a container that I just got, and am interested in getting more. I never thought about what individual needs they have. It takes you through the whole process: choosing a variety of citrus, the pests/diseases you may have to face, choosing the right pot and soil, all the steps in proper care all the way to harvest and everything in between. It does a breakdown of these requirements for each variety covered, not just in general terms for citrus. It's also written as if someone is just talking to you rather than like a textbook. It's good as a readthrough to get a general understanding, and then great as a reference guide to look back into should you need a refresher on repotting, or combating a particular pest or disease. Definitely a great read and super helpful information about growing citrus in containers. 5.0 out of 5 stars Very well written and super helpful! Reviewed in the United States on May 26, 2021I'm still relatively new to citrus, only having trees for 3 years now, so there's still so much more to learn! This book is a great guide for whether just starting out or still trying to learn as you go. It's broken down into easy to find sections so you can skip ahead to exactly what you're looking for. If you're just beginning, I'd suggest starting right at page one, take your time, and read it all! She explains things very well as she has done so much research in her own citrus journey. Highly recommend this book! 5.0 out of 5 stars Comprehensive and easy read Reviewed in the United States on May 24, 2021This book is very easy to read and covers everything I should need to know to raise citrus in general, and also has nuance instructions for specific ones (e.g. lemon vs mandarin). I just started growing citrus this year, and have been doing a lot of reading and research, and the content in this book aligns well with what I've learned from citrus gardeners. Overall, I think this book covers all the essentials you'd need to successfully grow citrus, and is well organized so you can come back and reference later. You could probably devote hours to watching videos and reading online content to learn what's in the book, or buy it and save yourself some time. Your call: ).
