"Timothy James Wilson loves adventure. He grew up in Southern California hiking the many mountains in California. He trekked the John Muir Trail at just 14 years old. When he was 17 years old, he moved to Arizona.Upon graduating from high school, Tim attended the University of Arizona for a few years, before leaving to join the Navy following September 11th. He was an Aircraft Mechanic in the Navy for six years, and worked as an Aircraft mechanic following his enlistment, until 2013 when he decided to finish his degree.Now living in the Phoenix area, he attended Glendale Community College and Phoenix College, before transferring to Arizona State University where he got his Bachelor of Science in Geography. Tim also holds a Master of Education from Northern Arizona University, and a Master of Business Administration from Grand Canyon University.Tim spent almost a decade working in higher education and non-profit as a project/program manager, but his true passion is writing, research, and adventure, so in 2023 he decided to write a book, ""Spirits Among the Saguaros"" about the many adventures there are to be had in Arizona. Tim is most comfortable near the campfire, telling stories about his many adventures. He loves the outdoors, hiking, backpacking, fishing, and hunting. He's often in front of a barbeque or cooking on the fire for his family. Tim is married and has three wonderful children. He is also expecting his first granddaughter in early 2024.
