Reviews for Sparkling Wines: The Equinox Guide for Wine Professionals and Connoisseurs

This is a fresh and well-researched resource for wine students and professionals alike. It affords a truly global view of the sparkling wine world today and provides exhaustive references for all aspects of sparkling wine production, Anne Krebiehl, Master of Wine Sparkling wines are among the most dynamic categories on today's market, yet few books explain what truly defines them. Marta Ręgowska and Piotr Nagórka have approached the subject from an original angle. Rather than organising sparkling wines primarily by place or chronology, they identify the key terms, concepts, and winemaking stages that shape these wines, tracing their impact from the vineyard through production choices to sensory expression in the glass. The result is a clear, authoritative, and deeply engaging exploration of sparkling wines that will reward both professionals and serious enthusiasts. Wojciech Bońkowski, Master of Wine
