Ruth Doyle (Author) Ruth Doyle always planned to be a writer, but trained as a nurse and studied social care first in order to gain a better understanding of people of all ages and walks of life. She lives on a micro-farm in Kent with her family and an assortment of animals.Ashling Lindsay (Illustrator) Ashling Lindsay is an illustrator from Belfast. Her first book, The Night Box, was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize and the Klaus Flugge prize for illustration. Ashling is currently working towards her MA at Belfast School of Art.
