Dr. Vinod Mishra received PhD in physics from State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook, with area of focus in theoretical nuclear physics. After gaining some research and teaching experience, he joined Lucent Technology Bell Labs and afterwards became a research scientist in US Federal Government. His areas of primary interest are in the application of software defined networking concepts to optical transport and MANET, quantum communication, and quantum information science.
