Glenn T, author of The Final Round-Up chapter, is an accomplished character actor, award-winning production designer, published writer and playwright. As Leader Entertainment, he rewrote and staged the multi-million-dollar live show, Leader of the Pack - The Ellie Greenwich Musical, in Sydney and Melbourne. He also created the one-man play, An Audience with Smoky & Herb, which explores the inspiring story of Smoky, his childhood hero. It has been a project of dedicated research and passion for Glenn to pay tribute to his long-time friends, the Dawsons, in this updated edition of Smoky's 1985 memoir. Glenn has scripted corporate presentations, short films and theatre productions, and his first full-length first feature film, SOPHIE: Dog Overboard, goes into production in early 2022. Smoky Dawson, who referred to himself as the grandaddy of country music when he hit the age of 70, was a born storyteller. His 1985 autobiography, as his great mate, the Outback entrepreneur R.M. Williams declared, is a valuable record of an important part of our history by one who has talked with kings, and lived with the gypsies of the road - and always remained true to himself .
