Karen Kazimer Shockley was raised with an almost overwhelming amount of religious exposure. Karen began a journey to use this information to bring religion to a place where it was real in her life. This process reached critical mass when she met a wonderful man who embodied the true Christian life, without structured religion. Through his influence, she began to recognize spiritual presences in her own life. Her goal is to share these experiences with others so that they, too, can continue their journey to spiritual peace. Karen has followed the maxim, ""be all you can be"". She started attending Miami University at the tender age of sixteen (soon to be seventeen) as a physics major. Within a year she became the first woman to be awarded an ROTC scholarship. Karen thoroughly valued her time in the Air Force, only resigning her commission when children came her way. Karen owned her own computer consulting company, taught for Park College, worked for many different organizations including Amtrak and now the federal government. An avid reader, as well as publisher of several technical articles, Karen has now turned to authoring her own books. She hopes you will enjoy the reading as much as she enjoyed the writing.
