With rich theological reflections and practical applications in these sterling notes, the reader will find invaluable insight and a resource for deepening one's own preaching or grasping the timeless truths of God's word."" --Mac Brunson, Senior Pastor, Valleydale Church, Alabama ""Historically, Maclaren's monumental ministry has suffered from neglect. This book effectively introduces the 'prince of preachers' to twenty-first-century evangelicals. With a captivating and lucid style, Michael Mills provides readers with a compelling and practical portrait of a man whose preaching ministry was marked by diligent study and creative, text-driven craftmanship.
