Although Joanne Waldron's formal training is in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, she has many other interests, with writing, playing bridge, and teaching chief among them. In addition to her technical work in the computer field, Ms. Waldron has served as a volunteer in the Balto. County Public School system, where she taught math classes (primarily for gifted elementary school kids), writing workshops, instrumental music (primarily violin), and helped wherever she could lend a hand. Ms. Waldron is an ACBL Silver Life Master and has won numerous trophies playing Texas Hold'em. She also enjoys reading, cooking, and organic gardening.
