Gabriel’s leadership has been recognized in many ways including a Gubernatorial appointment to Iowa’s STEM Council in 2020, and one of the Top 10 Leaders in Insurtech by ACORD. In 2019, he was named one of 30 Innovators To Watch by Digital Insurance, and among the Top 25 Leaders Transforming Manufacturing by Smart Manufacturing Magazine in 2021. His work with MākuSafe has been featured in more than a hundred publications across the globe. Gabriel is a Certified Occupational Safety Specialist (COSS) and has a degree in Business Administration. Mark Frederick is Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of MākuSafe. He has served as a cloud computing expert for one of the world’s largest technology companies, with over 25 years of deep technical experience. A Computer Science graduate of Northwestern College, Mark leads the design, development and delivery of MākuSafe’s high-tech stack of hardware, embedded systems and cloud software solutions. He also spent many years consulting as a technical lead, project manager and program manager on large strategic initiatives. Mark has extensive technical knowledge with years of practical experience in electronics, including embedded systems, sensor technology and Internet of Things (IoT), and is a Certified Occupational Safety Specialist. Tom West is Vice President & Global Practice Leader at MākuSafe, a SHRM & HRCI Senior Certified HR Professional, and a Certified Occupational Safety Specialist. With extensive executive leadership experience throughout his career, Tom has led various companies in the learning & development, and technology spaces. He also served as a College Professor for nearly 30 years, shaping future leaders in management. A professional member of the National Speakers Association and Avetta Fellow, Tom is active in organizations such as AIHA, NSC, ASSP, and VPPPA, and presents regularly at conferences around the world.
