Alison Anderson, Ph.D., is Professor of Sociology at the University of Plymouth, UK, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. She is former Editor-in-Chief of the Routledge journal Environmental Communication and has published widely with over 5,700 citations on Google Scholar. Her published books include Media, Environment and the Network Society (Palgrave, 2014) and Media, Culture and the Environment (Routledge, 1997). She is a founding member of the International Environmental Communication Association and serves on the editorial board of a number of journals, including Environmental Communication and the Journal of Environmental Media. Candice Howarth (Ph.D.) is Head of Climate Adaptation and Resilience at the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change at the London School of Economics and Political Science, UK. Her published books include Addressing the Climate Crisis: Local Action in Theory and Practice (Palgrave, 2022) and Resilience to Climate Change: Communication, Collaboration and Co-production (Palgrave, 2019). She is Associate Deputy Editor of the journal Climatic Change and sits on the Editorial Board of the journal Environmental Communication.
