Jerad Romo grew up in Tehachapi, California, and moved to Dallas in December of 2003 after being recruited to Southern Methodist University (SMU) for a football scholarship. He played quarterback for the Mustangs in 2004 and 2005. In 2006 he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Markets and Culture with a minor in Economics. In 2007, Jerad joined Sewell Automotive Companies as a sales associate at Sewell Lexus Dallas. He has had the opportunity to work in many departments of the company: the recruiting department, in sales management at Sewell Lexus Dallas, and was the Director of Human Resources. He is currently the General Sales Manager of Sewell Lexus Dallas. From 2012 to 2021, Jerad served as a mentor in Allies in Service, helping military personnel transition from service to the civilian world. He served as a member of the Undergraduate Industry Advisory Committee for Industrial Distribution and the Sales Leadership Institute's Advisory Board, both at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. Jerad is currently on the board of Athletes United at Southern Methodist University, working to instill faith and fellowship in the current athletes on campus. He has also been a member of SMU's Lettermen's Board since 2006. This group works to connect current and former lettermen for the betterment of the university. He is a member of St. Monica Catholic Church in Dallas, Texas. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley, and his children, Katherine, James, and Allison.
