Heather Lea is a Canadian-born freelance writer. She has written for Ca-nadian Geographic, Overland Journal, Expedition Portal, GearJunkie, TraveLife, Kootenay Mountain Culture, and Mountain Life magazine, among others. Heather is also a rider and lover of all things outdoors in nature. She cur-rently lives in Bellingham, Washington, with her husband and their Mexi-can rescue dog. This is Heather's first book.
