Helena Martins is a lecturer in Human Resources Management at the Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal and the Nova School of Business and Economics in Portugal. She is an integrated member of the CEOS.PP research centre and her research interests focus the development of soft skills for crisis situations especially for leaders and managers. She holds a PhD in Management (University of Porto, Portugal), a Masters in Work, Organizational and Personnel Psychology (University of Coimbra, Portugal and University of Valencia, Spain) and a Bachelors in Psychology (University of Minho, Portugal). Member of the Scientific Committee in several international and national conferences and congresses, and international journals. Extensive experience in guiding master's theses/projects and participation in juries of public examinations. Author and co-author of several scientific articles and book chapters and reviewer in several journals.
