Prof. Ing. Vincent KVOČÁK, CSc., is a distinguished scientist in the field of Civil Engineering Theory and Structure, focused on bridges, particularly on stability issues of wide-flange chords and web members, and on composite concrete and steel bridges. He has designed numbers of steel structures and supervised the construction of most of them. Ing. Daniel Dubecky, Ph.D., is a researcher in the field of composite concrete and steel structures. He has been engaged in several VEGA and APVV scientific projects, focusing on the research into deck bridges with encased filler-beams. He specialises in the preparation and performance of experimental measurements on a variety of building materials in the Laboratory of Excellent Research.
