YELLOW IS DECEIVING IN ALL ITS BEAUTY.

Do not be fooled by its brightness and splendour; there is a whole new level of darkness behind it.

Yellow has brought me here...

Amelia's problems began the day she chose a yellow piece of paper over a more popular colour. Since that day she has been prepared to accept the consequences that go with making unpopular decisions.

Amelia is no stranger to pain, she has a negligent boyfriend, no parents and suffers from Anorexia Nervosa. She is desperately seeking answers to her brokenness.

University brings on a whole new set of problems and obstacles for Amelia. She finds a mysterious discussion group that answers the questions she has and opens her up to a new world of possibilities. The question is, will she be prepared for answers once she has them?

Naomi was born in Melbourne and grew up in the eastern suburbs of Victoria. Naomi discovered writing in high school where she found she was a natural writer. She won various English awards while at school and her teachers found her to be a promising student. In 2015 Naomi went back to School to study a Diploma in Community Services where she did a lot of research for a book idea she had. That research was used to write 'Redefining Yellow'. Nowadays Naomi works in insurance and is part of a creative writing group that meets together on weekends. Naomi is excited to be starting a new novel that she hopes will meet the standard of her previous work.
