The 1st International Conference on Recent Advances in Computing Sciences (RACS-2022) organized by the School of Computer Application, Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar, Punjab from 4th to 5th November, 2022. The conference focuses on discussing issues, exchanging ideas, and the most recent innovations towards the advancement of research in the field of Computing Sciences and Technology. All technical sessions were predominantly related to Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Remote Sensing, Image Processing, Computer Vision, Data Forensics, Cyber Security, Computational Sciences, Simulation & Modelling, Business Analytics, and Machine Learning. The main objective of this conference is to provide a common platform for academia and industry to discuss various technological challenges and share cognitive thoughts. It provided a thought-provoking platform to discuss and disseminate novel solutions for real-world problems in a dynamic and changing technological environment. The main success of RACS-2022 is to give an opportunity for the participants to enhance their knowledge of recent computing technologies.

Dr. Sophiya Sheikh is an Associate Professor at Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab. She has completed her Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science, Central University of Rajasthan, India. She did her MCA in Computer Science and Applications from Rajasthan Technical University, Kota, and her B.Sc. in Information Technology from Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer, India. She is a potential reviewer in various reputed journals like IEEE System Journal, Cluster Computing, Scientific Reports, Journal of Supercomputing, etc. Her research interests are Grid/Distributed Computing and Cloud Computing. She regularly writes articles and research papers in reputed National and International magazines and Journals. Dr. Manmohan Sharma presently serving as Professor in School of Computer Applications, Lovely Professional University, Punjab, INDIA has a vast experience of more than 24 years in the field of academics, research and administration with different Universities and Institutions of repute such as Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Mangalayatan University etc. Dr. Sharma has been awarded with his Doctorate degree from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra in 2014 in the field of Wireless Mobile Networks. His areas of interest include Wireless Mobile Networks, Adhoc Networks, Mobile Cloud Computing, Recommender Systems, Data Science and Machine Learning etc. More than 50 research papers authored and co-authored, published in International or National journals of repute and conference proceedings comes under his credits. He is currently supervising six doctoral theses. Three Ph.D. and three M.Phil. degrees has already awarded under his supervision. He has guided more than 600 PG and UG projects during his service period under the aegis of various Universities and Institutions. He worked as reviewer of many conference papers and member of the technical program committees for several technical conferences. He is also actively serving several journals related to the field of wireless, mobile communication and cloud computing as editorial board member. He is also member of various professional/technical Societies including Computer Society of India (CSI), Association of Computing Machines (ACM), Cloud Computing Community of IEEE, Network Professional Association (NPA), International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT), and Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA). Dr. Amar Singh is working as a Professor in the School of Computer Applications, Lovely Professional University, Punjab, India. He did his Ph.D. (Computer Science & Engineering) from IKG Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, Punjab, India. He has completed his M. Tech. (Information Technology) M.M. University, Mullana, Ambala, Haryana, India. He is a lifetime member of ISCA (Indian Science Congress Association). He has more than 13 years of experience in Teaching and Research. He has published around 80 research articles in various Journals and Conferences. His current research interests are Soft Computing, Machine Learning, and Image Processing. He has successfully guided 02 Ph.D. research scholars and, 08 Ph.D. research scholars are conducting research under his guidance.
