Georgia Jackson lives in Elliott, Iowa. She graduated from Amarillo College in 1983 with an associate degree in nursing and is now retired. In her spare time, she enjoys needlework, cross stitch, and reading. She also prizes her keen sense of humor. Having written this book about her mother, who frequently had to go without support in her faith journey, Georgia hopes it will encourage people in similar situations and be a reminder that no matter the circumstances, with the help of the Lord, anyone can maintain their faith.
""The book was quite interesting; Rebecca overcame many obstacles. I chuckled at times and cried at times. The book is full of adventure."" Julia Hornback, Retired Administrative Assistant ""This book has joy and happiness, sorrow, hardships, relationships, life and death. Through it all there is faith! I like that it's not about a famous person or celebrity, it's about a common person we all can relate too. Jesus is there for everyone. Even if you don't believe, you will!"" Kerry Namanny, Sabbath School Teacher ""I enjoyed this book very much. It was well written and should be a good lesson for those who haven't had to live as the folk did in the early years of the 20th century. I knew Rebecca; she was a very dear friend and one of the sweetest people I have ever known."" Sterling Trice, Church Elder
