Puntos de encuentro: A Cross-Cultural Approach to Advanced Spanish is an innovative, content-based language learning textbook that rethinks advanced Spanish instruction. María J. de la Fuente is Professor of Spanish at The George Washington University. Her area of research is second language acquisition and, in particular, task- and content-based classroom language learning. Her current pedagogical research focuses on sustainable development education through content-based language pedagogy. Beatriz Cobeta is Assistant Professor of Spanish at Simmons University. She has previously taught at The George Washington University, Oberlin College, and the University of Notre Dame.
