Public and Community Health Nursing: Expanding the Learning Experience explores critical issues in public and community health revealed by the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly its impact on the nursing profession and healthcare delivery globally. The book evaluates the recent challenges faced by healthcare professionals and underscores the importance of integrating public and community health into healthcare practice and education. It emphasizes the need to recognize that public and community health are vital for the wellbeing of individuals, families, populations, communities, and global health.

The book provides a detailed discussion on various substantive topics like diversity, healthcare equity, vulnerable population health, communicable diseases, digital health, quality of care, and interprofessional collaboration. It also describes the nexus between healthcare delivery, public policy, and community health, while promoting leadership in all healthcare settings.
