Aloysius Bavon is Professor of Public Administration at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service, where he teaches courses in program planning and development, data analysis, and program evaluation. He has an extensive background and publication record in the areas of program planning, management, and evaluation. Previously, Dr. Bavon served as program coordinator of the doctoral program in public administration at the University of North Texas. He has also served as chair of the Department of Policy Studies at the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth. He has completed numerous grant-funded projects that focus on evaluation of programs including court-based drug programs, air pollution mitigation programs, community-based arts initiatives, and obesity prevention programs. Dr. Bavon holds a Ph.D. in public administration from Florida State University.
