Esto incluye la discusión de sus lugares de obtención y de elaboración, así como los tipos de interacción relacionados con su circulación, distribución y consumo.

This book includes varied case studies that address, from different perspectives, the circulation and/or trade of materials and objects in different areas of ancient Mexico, with some examples from the colonial period and nineteenth century. It takes an interdisciplinary approach, investigating raw materials, technologies, and styles to understand networks of social, economic, and symbolic interaction over time. Detailed analyses of the provenance, traceology, and style of lithics, shells, ceramics, metal, pigments, and glass, allow the authors to review and discuss the origin of the goods studied. This includes discussion of raw material locations and processing, as well as the types of interaction related to their circulation, distribution, and consumption.
