Giuseppe Conte is currently Professor of Automation at the Polytechnic University of Marche, Ancona, Italy, since 1990. He has been Visiting Researcher/Professor at the Ohio State University and the Ecole Centrale de Nantes. His research interests are in algebraic and geometric system and control theory, in home automation, industrial robotics, and marine robotics. He has authored more than 300 papers in journals, conference proceedings and books, he co-edited four books, and he co-authored the research monographs Algebraic Methods for Nonlinear Control Systems, Theory and Applications (London, UK: Springer Verlag 2007). Olivier SENAME is Leader of the research team ""Robustness and Linear Systems"" in GIPSA‐lab, Université Grenoble Alpes. His research activities concern the modeling and control of linear parameter varying systems and of time‐delay systems, the control of automotive subsystems for vehicle dynamics, the control of energy systems (fuel cell, multi‐sources), and co‐design approaches control/real‐time scheduling. Publications: he is Co‐author of 2 books and 15 book chapters, 40 international journal papers, and more than 160 international conference papers.
