He was born on March 4, 1958. in Gračanica. He graduated from the Gazi Husrev Bey madrasa in Sarajevo. After that, he entered the ITF (Islamic Theological Faculty - current FIN) in Sarajevo, where he graduated in 1983. He completed his post-graduate studies in the study of the Qur'an at the University of Zeytuna in Tunisia, where he defended his master's thesis under the title: El-Kenzu fil-kiraatil-ashere - dirase ve tahkik (Scientific treatment of the manuscript work on ten kirats), in 1990. After that, he returns to Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he makes his adequate contribution to the defense of the homeland. After the aggression against his homeland, he went to doctoral studies at the same university in Tunisia, which he successfully completed in 1999. The topic of the doctoral dissertation was: El-Inajetu bil-Qur'anil-Kerimi fil-Bosna munzu fethiha ilel-an (Study of the Qur'an in Bosnia from the arrival of Islam until today). After returning from his doctorate, he worked for the next eight years as the chief imam of the Mejlis of IZ Mostar. In the same period, as an external associate, he also works at the University of Dzemal Bijedic, where he teaches the subject of Da'va at the Department of Islamic Religious Studies, and at the Karađoz-bey madrasa on the subject of Akaid (two years), and on the subject of Imamate (seven years). He was a long-term professional associate of the Cantonal Ministry of Education (HNK), as well as the Inter-Municipal Pedagogical Institute in Mostar, for the purpose of passing professional exams for teachers and professors of Islamic religious education. In the period 1993-1997. he was the editor and host of the religious program on Radio Hajat in Pazaric. He participated in numerous scientific and professional symposia in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as abroad. He carried out and published about fifty reviews and expert papers. He took part in the work of translating capital works in the field of tafsir and hadith, among which we particularly highlight Tafsir Ibn Kesir and Sahih Muslim. So far, he has published four books, and in two he participated with other authors. He is a lecturer on courses in the field of Islamic missionary work, as well as comparative religions, and currently holds the position of vice dean for teaching and student affairs at the IPF in Bihac.
